Why We Go to Church

Attending church is a visible and tangible act and expression of our love and worship for God. Church is where we can gather with other Christians to publicly bear witness of our faith and trust in God.

It’s understandable that some people cannot attend church due to illness. However, there are some things that can keep us out of church that God will not excuse, such as laziness, putting entertainment and amusements before God and harboring bitterness toward other believers.

In this Bible Study James Lindly covers the “ins” and “outs” of attending Sunday Service.

Recorded Live at the “A Word from God Bible Church” in Springfield, MO. on August 14th, 2011.

“Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in heaven. But whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven.

-Matthew 10:32-33
