Money is a necessity in our society. Without it we can’t buy the things we need for everyday living. Yet we should not place money on such a high pedestal that we begin to worship it. Believe it or not, many put money above many things, including obedience to God.
Some believe if they have enough financial abundance that they will have all their problems solved. This idea is a type of idolatry, and it’s simply is not true. Our financial needs can be met by God if we allow Him to show us how to manage our money.

For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
