As Christians, we need to be keeping watch for the things of God that come across our path. And we also need to be keeping watch for the tricks and traps of Satan. The main way we keep watch is to always be praying to do the Will of God.
Doing God’s Will intimately connects us to Christ. However, many Christian pray with the focus on their own will.
Jesus did not pray for His will but always prayed for the Will of the Father. We too must be watchful in this area of our lives because when we are not keeping watch, Satan can lure us away. Often the temptation begins with the desire to do our own will. Are you keeping watch over your Christian Walk?
