fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
God promises Believers that He will be with us to keep us safe no matter what. He cares for His Children more than any of us can ever imagine. Even in Death, God keeps us!
Psalm 23:4 (ESV)
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
With many bible promises we often see a condition that we must meet. The same is true for this one….
1. We must not fear! Fear leads to unbelief! In this verse God says He is with us. That alone should be our courage!

2. We must not be dismayed (stressed)! Stress leads to panic and ungodly behavior. Isaiah 41:10 (ESV) be not dismayed, for I am your God;
3. Lay it all on Him!

I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
I. God Keeps Us Because: He Created Us.
Genesis 1:27 (ESV)
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
People are NO accident, we were created for fellowship with God, by God! God created us to be with Him.
Acts 17:26-27 (ESV)
26 And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place,
27 that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us,
II. God Keeps Us Because: He knows Us.
Romans 8:29-30 (ESV)
29 For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. 30 And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.
There is not a single thing about you or your life that God does not know about!
Luke 12:6-7 (ESV)
Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? And not one of them is forgotten before God. Why, even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not; you are of more value than many sparrows.
John 10:14-15 (ESV)
I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep.
III. God Keeps Us Because: He Loves Us.
John 3:16-17 (ESV)
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.
Its NOT because we LOVE Him first that He loves us.
1 John 4:10 (ESV)
In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
It is NOT our love that moves God to Keep us, but rather His Love.
Romans 5:8 (ESV)
But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
God is calling us to Himself. It is up to us to answer His call and when we do, He will Keep us! Are you ready to answer the Call of God?
